      <image:title>Welcome - Dogs of Cuba</image:title>
<image:caption>Novel publishing in 2027 with Regal House. Preorder link coming soon. Advance praise: “DOGS OF CUBA is a wise, heart-breaking novel by a writer who fully understands what happens to a dream deferred. Edie Emanuela Meidav has talent to spare and this story of a doomed, hopeful love match between Cuban kids who grew up together, one chasing glory as a boxer, the other loving him, would turn the heart of a stone. I read every word and was hungry for more.” —Jacquelyn Mitchard, author of The Deep End of the Ocean and The Birdwatcher "Gorgeously rhythmic and noir-raw, DOGS OF CUBA is a sparring match between bodies (human and land), between the heart and the 'best hell' of the mind, between Teo and Nina, trapped by lust and illusion. What a rapturous novel, the most emotionally alive love story I've read in years—a 'mad up-down blur.' Shred the redemption arc and step into the ring, I dare you." —Margot Douaihy, USA Today best-selling author of Scorched Grace, Blessed Water, and Divine Ruin “For Edie Meidav, language is not merely functional. Language to Meidav is texture and meaning – rich evocations of people and places, twined with challenging circumstances and life’s complicated choices. She proved this vividly in such novels as Crawl Space and Lola, California, and does so once again in Dogs of Cuba. In this engaging book, Meidav turns her attention to boxing, as revealed in such thoughtful passages as this: ‘Like that riddle I used to ask our daughter: what is both possible and impossible? And she was so good at waiting as if she could figure it out, as if answers could arrive on a tradewind or something more solid, the perfection of a companion better than a sphinx. Every fight has a thesis and the end of the thesis is always the hardest to prove, as Perez, the theoretician of Cuban boxing used to say.’ This kind of prose makes Meidav’s work ceaselessly captivating: from a sport, we explore a life.” —Joel Drucker, author, Jimmy Connors Saved My Life</image:caption>

      <image:title>Strange Attractors - Rebecca Bell-Gurwitz</image:title>
<image:caption>Rebecca Bell-Gurwitz is a therapist and writer of many genres currently based out of Portland, Oregon, though formerly and in her heart a proud East Coast native. Her writing has previously been featured in publications such as the Dead Beats, the Citron Review, and Thrice Magazine. She is a fan of agender characters and surrealist works of fiction, stories about mothers and daughters in kitchens, and finding language to reclaim trauma narratives. Her bangs are slowly turning silver.</image:caption>

<image:title>Another Love Discourse - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>Meidav is deeply wise about people, with an uncanny, near-clairvoyant empathy for a wild range of characters. — Karen Russell A lush plunge into the sensorium: marriage, divorce, discovery. Meidav turns her fierce intellect to timeless questions of love, its attendant ecstasy and delicious pain. This book will unlock you. —Margot Douaihy, author of Scorched Cross An alchemist of empathy, of nuanced observation and unexpected truths, Edie Meidav is a writer whose every magical story probes human experience from triumphs to tragedies and all the terrain between. —Bradford Morrow, author of The Prague Sonata and editor/founder of Conjunctions By marking the small things in delicate and fragile syntax, Meidav writes large and sure the world and the love that binds it. — Jim Carpenter, author of No Place to Pray This marvelous, wise, melancholy tale of new love invents an unblinking new language to give breath to the degree zero. Another Love Discourse trains its gaze on the tender rootedness of all being, becoming a love song and offering, long overdue, to the literature of the neglected self.— Andrea Scrima, author of A Lesser Day and editor-in-chief of StatORec In this time of collective confusion and terror, Edie Meidav has given us a guidebook for the depths. The wisdoms offered are multiple and timely; her telling is masterful, rendered as intimately as the lines on our own hands.— Dale M. Kushner, author of The Conditions of Love</image:caption>
